Paralegal / Immigration Caseworker

The opportunity

Newfields is an Award-winning boutique law firm with offices in Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter and Swansea that delivers immigration solutions to businesses and sport organisations, including individuals and their families.

The role

We are looking for a Paralegal/Immigration Caseworker who can offer support to Newfields providing a range of legal immigration support and administration to clients, advisors and other legal professionals.

Skills required

• IT literate and competent in all Microsoft office packages
• Business acumen and the ability/appetite to promote and market the firm
• Ability to represent the firm, acting professionally at all times
• Ability to work as part of a team, but also motivated to work independently
• An understanding of confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent English skills (verbal and written, supported by accurate spelling and grammar)
• Ability to work under pressure
• An acceptance of the need to work outside normal office hours as and when required.

Additional information

The role will attract a competitive salary and be full-time and based in our Cardiff office, with the need for occasional travel to other offices. The core hours are 9 to 5, with one hour lunch break.

The role is one-year fixed term with the opportunity to progress to a 2-year fixed term upon satisfactory completion of the first year.
