The Swansea & District Junior Lawyers Division (SDJLD) has announced its new president and committee for 2024/25 after its recent AGM.

Tanith Harwood is the new President of the SDJLD, taking over after a successful year led by the now Immediate Past President, Rachel Tucker.

Swansea & District JLD President, Tanith Harwood, said:

“It is a privilege to be elected the President of the SDJLD and my goal this year is to build on our solid foundation and create a space where all junior lawyers feel encouraged and supported; and whether that is through hosting and participating in networking events and socials, sharing job opportunities, as well as attendance at our regular meetings. I believe we are building the SDJLD into a strong and supportive community which is at the very core of what a JLD should be.

“I would like to thank Rachel for all of her hard work and dedication to the SDJLD over recent years as she has been a member since 2015 so she will be missed!”
