A new partnership has been announced today between leading UK advisory and accountancy firm Menzies LLP, and Legal News Wales. The partnership aims to offer the legal sector in Wales targeted insight and guidance, and to extend collaborative networks that further support law firms and their clients in challenging markets.

Menzies has a wealth of experience and proven track record supporting both businesses and individuals, and multiple groups both in the UK and internationally.

Menzies has joined Legal News Wales as an Exclusive Community Partner to offer new collaborative events and forums (that help unpick and address business challenges), highlight the positive impact of law firms in Corporate and Commercial matters, and to share their expertise to help law firms and their clients flourish.

On announcing the partnership, John Cullen, Business Recovery Partner at Menzies (based in Cardiff), said:

“We are delighted to announce our exclusive partnership with Legal News Wales. As a full-service advisory and accountancy practice, we already work alongside many of the legal firms within Wales to deliver strategic solutions for their clients, including advisory, restructuring and forensic & valuation support.

“We hope this partnership will allow us to deepen our relationships within the sector and provide support to an even wider range of legal professionals in Wales.”

Emma Waddingham, Editor of Legal News Wales, said:

“I am thoroughly impressed by the team’s approach to collaboration and their diversity of thought within the business. This can be seen across the range of commercial projects they’re instructed on and law firms in Menzies’ ecosystem, through to an active culture of inclusivity.

“Menzies has a wealth of insight and reflections to share on its equality, diversity and inclusion progress and organisations I’ve met have praised the firm for its approach. I’m looking forward to exploring Menzies’ inclusion progress, while drawing on the teams’ expertise and relationships across Wales.”

John added:

“It’s of great importance to us that we partnered with an organisation that aligns with our values, and Legal News Wales does just that. We are looking forward to contributing not only from an advisory perspective, but also on important topics such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, as well as ESG – two areas at the heart of our business. We can’t wait to get started.”
