Regional law firm JCP Solicitors has announced four new appointments in Carmarthen, who will be based at its new office in Parc Pensarn.
Following investment in a modern and improved office space at Parc Pensarn, the firm has made four recent key appointments, welcoming Carys Wilson to the Commercial Property team, Edwina Davies and Angharad Butler to the Residential Property team, and Lisa Evans as a Trainee Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team.
The move to Parc Pensarn, Carmarthen, while leaving behind the charming Grade II listed building, Tŷ Gelli Aur on Quay Street, is ‘part of the business’s commitment to better serving its clients and supporting its team’. The new office has a modern workspace, free parking, improved accessibility for the local community, and access to an onsite café, Y Sied.
Carys Wilson, Commercial Property Director at JCP Solicitors, said:
“We are thrilled to enhance our services for our Carmarthen-based clients, and we look forward to welcoming more visitors to the modern office space.
“We will continue to prioritise the people and businesses of Carmarthenshire, offering the highest level of legal expertise and support. I look forward to leading the Commercial Property team at JCP’s Carmarthen office, working with local SMEs and the farming community and landowners, to support growth and prosperity for the local economy here in West Wales.”
Carys Wilson, a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association, has been appointed as a Director in the Commercial Property team. A fluent Welsh speaker and a former Associate Director at Morgan LaRoche, Carys brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of commercial, agricultural and residential property law. Living on a farm, Carys brings with her insight into the challenges faced by farmers and landowners.
Edwina Davies has joined the Carmarthen office as a Licensed Conveyancer in the Residential Property team, bringing over 12 years’ experience in residential conveyancing. Her expertise spans various transaction types, including freehold and leasehold management, equity release, and more. Angharad Butler joins Edwina, taking on the role of Legal Assistant in the Residential Property team.
Lisa Evans joins as a Trainee Solicitor in the specialist Medical Negligence team, working alongside Carmarthen based Director Thomas Rees. Following the firm’s recent intake of Trainee Solicitors in November, Welsh-speaker Lisa will support the wider team’s offering across West Wales.
