The SRA is increasingly aware of the issues that face lawyers when representing someone who may be vulnerable due to a mental health problem, and it is are currently working on guidance to help lawyers meet their regulatory duties.
In the first of our event series with Mind & AltraLaw, Legal News Wales explored how lawyers can help clients with litigation stress & how to manage it.
Litigation stress is very often amplified for individuals in the court of protection, for clients with mental health challenges but also for clients that face new and significant wellbeing issues as a result of their legal matter.
The pandemic has only exacerbated litigation stress for many so we also asked our speakers to cover ways to support clients in person and when working with them remotely.
You can now watch the full event below, and access the speaker resources.
