In our first podcast with our Community Partner, Azets, Emma and her guests share their first-hand knowledge of the operational and financial challenges that law firms in Wales face – and what lies ahead.
I’m joined by Katherine Broadhurst, Partner in the Corporate Finance team and David Holden, Director in the Audit and Business Services department at Azets, for a whistle stop tour of some of the key trends and issues currently affecting legal practices. We also explore the corporate transaction market in Wales and my guests from Azets share their own experience of consolidation and what the legal sector can learn from other industries.
Azets works with legal firms on a daily basis on matters impacting their own financial performance and position and those of their clients, supporting all to achieve their desired outcomes. They also collaborate with lawyers on both sides of corporate transactions, succession planning and consolidation. Over the next 12 months, we’ll focus on some of the topics raised in this podcast, and more, with the Azets team in Wales.
This podcast is a must for partners, directors, practice managers, corporate and commercial lawyers and anyone responsible for succession planning, finance and growth in a legal practice. It’s also a useful listen for lawyers considering their career in law and the structure of law firms now and in the future.
