Geldards has announced that Ian Price, former Director of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) in Wales, will join the firm in a consultancy and ambassadorial role.
Ian brings with him a wealth of experience and an unparalleled network of connections within Welsh business and beyond. His new role will see him working closely with the firm to enhance its profile, foster new opportunities, and build deeper relationships across key sectors in Wales.
Jeff Pearson, CEO of Geldards, commented:
“We are thrilled to welcome Ian Price to Geldards. Ian’s deep understanding of the Welsh business landscape and his extensive network will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve as a firm.
“This is a significant step in our strategy to support and collaborate with the Welsh business community. Ian’s expertise will undoubtedly help us to further our vision of being the go-to law firm for businesses across Wales.”
Ian added:
“I am incredibly excited to be working with Geldards in this new role. The firm has an outstanding reputation, not just for its legal expertise, but also for its dedication to supporting businesses in Wales.
“I look forward to helping them strengthen their connections within the Welsh business community and supporting their ambitious plans for growth.”
Ian retired as CBI Wales Director in September 2025 after seven years as Wales Director, and a total of 19 years’ working with the organisation, during which time, the CBI said, Ian gained the ‘deep respect and admiration of members, stakeholders and colleagues for his work on behalf of the business community’.
