The Government Legal Department has appointed public lawyer Angharad Price as a Professional Support Lawyer.
Angharad will work to establish a centre of excellence in public law for the Government Legal Department. She was previously the Principal Legal at the Equality & Human Rights Commission Wales. On the announcement of her appointment, she said:
“I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to be part of the team establishing a Centre of Excellence in public law, providing leadership, best practice and support across the Government Legal Department.”
Angharad was called to the bar at Middle Temple in 2004 and is an experienced lawyer having worked in local government and the Welsh Government.
She is the only Welsh social mobility advocate as part of the Bar Council #IamtheBar campaign. You can read more about Angharad’s career story here.
