Afonwy Howell-Pryce and Hannah Thomas, both in the firm’s Wills & Probate team, have graduated from the firm’s ‘Pathway to Partnership’ scheme and have been promoted to Partner, effective of 1 April 2025. The promotions see the partnership at Harding Evans grow to 19 members.
Afonwy Howell-Pryce joined Harding Evans in 2020 and specialises in the administration of estates and trusts, while also advising clients on estate planning and wills. She has a particular interest in probate and trusts and acts as a professional trustee. Afonwy is also the Deputy Chair for the Wales branch of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Hannah Thomas joined the firm in 2022, advising clients in relation to the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, wills, estate administration, Court of Protection applications and estate planning. Hannah is a fully accredited member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers.
The promotions come off the back of a period of continuous growth for the firm.
Chairman Ken Thomas commented:
“Afonwy and Hannah are fantastic solicitors who are respected by their colleagues and clients, alike. Their promotions recognise their hard work and dedication to growing the department, particularly in Cardiff, and it is my pleasure to congratulate them both”.
Harding Evans has a dedicated partner development programme with a further eight solicitors currently on its ‘Pathway to Partnership’.
Harding Evans has offices in Newport and Cardiff. The two new partners are based in its Cardiff office.
