Irwin Mitchell, along with West Country Case Management, has donated over £2700 to the Wales Air Ambulance thanks to donations made at its recent ‘Litigation Kaleidoscope’ conference, hosted in Cardiff in November 2022.
The conference, that attracted case managers, barristers, occupational therapists and rehabilitation professionals, helped to raise funds for the all-Wales Charity and this week, was able to present a cheque to volunteers.
Deborah Rose, Serious Injury Partner at Irwin Mitchell, joined Lauren Ham from West Country Case Management to meet the Wales Air Ambulance crew and understand how the funds would be used.
Deborah said:
“We are delighted to have been able to work with our friends at West Country Case Management to raise these much-needed funds for such a wonderful charity and to have had the opportunity to get to discover first hand some of the wonderful work they do.
“As the charity is solely funded through donations, we hope that the funds raised will help make a real difference.”
Laura Coyne, Wales Air Ambulance Community Fundraiser, said:
“We wholeheartedly would like to thank Irwin Mitchell along with West Country Case Management for their incredible donation of £2,700 to our lifesaving charity.
“The Wales Air Ambulance needs to raise £8 million every year to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road. This generous donation will enable our charity to continue its life-saving work right across Wales, 24/7, 365 days a year. A huge thank you to everybody who donated.”
