Legal costs specialists Phoenix Legal Services has joined Legal News Wales as a Community Partner, in celebration of its 20th anniversary in 2023, and to showcase its significant presence in legal costs advice, and continued growth.
Phoenix Legal Services, founded by qualified Costs Lawyer, and Vice Chair of the association of Costs Lawyers, Stephen Averill, is renowned for dealing with all types of legal cost issues. It is based in Cardiff city centre, with a further office in East Sussex, and the practice covers commercial, insurance, personal injury, medical negligence, professional negligence, Legal Aid, criminal, audit and panel management costs advice.
The firm is well-known for its bespoke training offering, and in light of the recent costs law changes – including the fixed costs regime – Phoenix Legal Services is hosting a free seminar on the 26th October 2023, in Cardiff, highlighting solutions and its advice for lawyers, and will also include a session from a Regional Costs Judge on maximising cost budgets.
