9 Park Place Chambers has announced the appointment of David Elias KC as head of chambers, upon Paul Hopkins KC stepping down from the role that he held for a decade.
David Elias KC is head of the Criminal Team at Cardiff-based 9 Park Place, and former Leader of the Wales and Chester Circuit. He has been instructed in many of the most high-profile criminal cases in Wales and is consistently recommended in both Legal 500 and Chambers UK Guides as a leading silk.
Speaking of his appointment, David said:
